The team at Medicci Capelli are the best in the field. I felt welcomed and like a superstar from day one. On the day of the procedure itself (FUT 1500 grafts), it went smooth as butter and the techs made for great conversation! Time honestly flew by! Not that I’ll need it now, but I’d go back again in a heartbeat!

Beard transplant 10 days post-op before and after photo Constitution: My experience was of a warm, no judgmental interaction. Geoff was careful to listen to my hopes and clear with the course of action along with expectations. On a personal level, the team are all very likeable, light and friendly. In particular, Geoff and Liz. The consultation is free, yet my experience on that first day was priceless! Procedure: The process was emotionally painless, but do expect some discomfort when the numbing injections are administered - the discomfort is completely manageable, but made better by comforting words/touch & and stress balls all provided by the skilled team. 8 till 3 pm - start to finish (from memory) but this time passes by quicker than expected due to Netflix access. I naturally have a thick moustache and soul patch and some hair under the chin and neck, but almost nothing on the rest of my face. I had 2,000 grafts with approximately 3,300 hairs implanted (a mix of single and double hair grafts). Expect plenty of swelling on the face after the surgery. Day1/2/3 after the procedure: The worst part. During this time the swelling remains, and the stitches from the donor site (back of the head), are tight and sore. Sleep is hard to achieve. I didn't talk and only ate liquid food to not disrupt the newly transplanted follicles. I also used RED light at home twice daily (20min each sitting) to help with recovery - though it's not necessary to do so) and drinking plenty of water. Day4+: Things begin to show signs of improvement - reduction in swelling and discomfort. By day 7 I was eating, sleeping and talking relatively normally again. The desire to scratch your face is massive...but don't! Tapping the itchy area helps. Day10: removal of stitches and cleaning of beard scabs. I cleaned my beard of scabs myself on day 9 (against recommendations) but proceeded with caution. I looked a mess during this full period until I got cleaned up - so book off a fortnight from general life and work. The stitch removal was quick and the team get to marvel at their work of art, which was a fun experience. Overall I couldn't be happier from my personal experience to the end result!

There are no words that help convey the ease of process, the reassurance offered, and the quality of this practice and its team. I recently had some FUT surgery with Medici Capri and they are nothing but professional, very friendly and made me very comfortable throughout the whole process. I'm very happy with the results.
