Dr Leat trained in hair transplant surgery under Dr Damkerng Pathomvanich MD. FACS – one of the foremost transplant surgeons in the world today. He has since performed many hair transplant procedures on both men and women. Dr Leat travels and speaks at many conferences, keeping him at the leading edge of modern technology.
Medici Capelli has developed a strong hair restoration team. As Medical Director, Dr Leat is dedicated to providing each and every patient the very best quality care and the highest standards of aesthetic surgery. His technical skill in hair transplantation and many other fields of modern cosmetic medicine is complimented by his ability to understand and relate to his patients.
“Hair loss is a topic close to my heart. Having watched my brother loose most of his hair by the age of 20, I know what a blow it can be to self esteem and confidence. My team and I share one goal which is to improve our patient’s enjoyment of life. We take this responsibility very seriously. Having a hair transplant is not a procedure to be afraid of and I encourage my patients to talk to me about their concerns. I want them to make sure all their questions are answered and they are totally comfortable with the procedure.”
Dr Leat is married with 2 children. His interests are sport, music and spending quality time with his young family.

So, you wish to take the first step, a free consultation. Congratulations, you’ve taken a giant leap forward in your personal appearance and the way you feel. Many people are afraid of the first step for fear of pain, embarrassment or other people’s opinion. Do not let these fears stop you from achieving the head of hair you desire. By asking now, you have taken control of your future and your appearance. Some people may say balding does not worry them. That’s OK. But if it does worry you, never be put off by what others may say about your desire for a transplant or synthetic implant. This is for your appearance and your appearance alone.
Hair transplantation and synthetic implant are both carried out under local anaesthetic so there is very little discomfort.
The desire to improve yourself is great. The idea of letting yourself go slowly bald has no benefits at all.
